Summary:
Ensures quality, service and cleanliness standards are being maintained through employee training, daily inspections of the facility and equipment as well as staff supervision. Provides on-going and varied assistance to the Store Manager in order to optimize store operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service management experience is an asset
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate in both French and English (written and oral)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises and directs Store Staff and Supervisors, including monitoring work performance, prioritizing daily work requirements, training, guiding and assisting, providing input for annual performance reviews and recommending corrective action as required.
- Supervises customer service and production staff along with Store Supervisors/Trainers, and during peak customer service times.
- Conducts interviews with potential candidates and makes hiring recommendations.
- Establishes staff work schedules.
- Conducts customer service training with staff.
- Records customer service times in order to determine the efficiency of store operations and improve customer service.
- Ensures the safety of all employees through hazard identification, training and follow-up.
- Conducts accident investigations and ensures proper documentation and follow-up.
- Ensures quality, service and cleanliness standards are being met through ongoing staff supervision and conducting required audits, e.g. Daily Walk-Thru, Daily Management Checklist
- Implements and monitors the effectiveness of new policies and programs
