WEB REPORTER/Writer – PERMANENT PART-TIME (WEEKEND)
Location: CTV Television Inc., Montreal
Hours of work: 16 hours per week (Saturday and Sunday). Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
· Generate stories and content for ctvmontreal.ca; Write daily webcasts.
· Interview story subjects and contact to continuously update information and news content.
· Appear on-air in newscasts to report on web content and other stories.
· Ensure the accuracy, consistency and adherence to standards of all content subject matter on the site.
· Participate in news editorial meetings.
· Live reporting as required.
Qualifications:
· BA in Journalism or equivalent;
· Minimum 5 years experience as online, print or television reporter;
· Experience in a New Media/Online newsroom is preferred;
· Knowledge of HTLM;
· Sound editorial judgment and analytical skills. Strong writing and editing skills;
· Ability to work under stress, deadlines and on several projects simultaneously;
· Excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills;
· Bilingual. |
