Enermodal is looking for an experienced Project Principal to join our cross-functional green building team. By providing technical guidance, the Project Principal will deliver high quality LEED projects on time and on budget by executing deliverables, acting as the main contact for clients and project teams, and coordinating the work of project managers.
Key responsibilities:
- participates in consultant and contractor selection process, including requests for proposal, recommendation of award, fee negotiations, construction bidding and contracts preparation
- work with clients, architects and contractors to facilitate, verify and certify buildings in accordance with the LEED Canada Green Building rating system
- develop innovative solutions to reduce the burden of the built environment on the natural environment
- minimize life-cycle costs for building owners and operators
- accountable for the financial resources committed to meeting project needs and overall performance of projects
Requirements
- degree in mechanical engineering, CET or diploma in construction/architecture technology
- 7 years experience in Green Building design, Project Management and construction/contract management
- thorough understanding of building systems
- computer proficiency, especially with Excel, Word and AutoCAD
- passion for the environment and Green Buildings
- customer service and a responsible work ethic
