Enermodal is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our cross-functional green building team. By providing technical guidance, the Project Manger will supervise the overall direction of projects, and ensure the timely completion of project goals.
Key responsibilities:
- participates in project planning and development of sustainable design features to improve the energy and resource efficiency of new buildings, renovations and site improvements
- be responsible for all phases of green building design, construction, and certification to LEED, Canada Green Building Rating System
- lead integrated design workshops and develop innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of new and existing buildings
- minimize utility costs for building owners and operators through detailed building energy simulations
- provide day-to-day supervision of the project sustainable design and project construction stages, including monitoring and coordinating the work performed by architectural, engineering and construction firms as well as manage a team of junior Project Coordinators
This position requires
- Professional Engineer with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 to 5 years experience in Green Building Design, Project Management and Construction/Contract Management
- thorough understanding of building systems
- computer proficiency, especially with Excel, Word and AutoCAD
- passion for the environment and Green Buildings
- customer service and a responsible work ethic
