This position on our engineering team is responsible for test system design, programming, startup, customer interface and test system runoff. The primary responsibility is to create LabVIEW and TestStand programs to automate test procedures and to take test data using data acquisition equipment. Integration of sensors and sensing systems with LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware as necessary to accomplish test requirements is required. Develop programming to automate the creation of test reports and input of data into databases where required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Practical knowledge of electronics/electrical systems
- Exposure to LabVIEW real time programming
- Experience with data acquisition cards and Instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and multi-meters
Essential skills and requirements

2-5 years experience with LabVIEW 7.1 or higher

Knowledge of advanced LabVIEW and TestStand coding methods such as: state diagrams, parallel loops, notifiers, events, callback function, timed structures, and type definitions

Good mathematical skills

Proficiency in data acquisition techniques, including knowledge of National Instruments DAQ cards
