Job Description :

Position Overview: Our Allocators possess strong analytical and problem solving skills and have a passion for retail. Allocators display excellent team and customer service skills with strong time management abilities. The position must analyze sales, inventory, gross profit and turnover to support store & customer demand.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze sales and inventory data to create an allocation strategy that supports the appropriate allocation of merchandise to the stores.
• Allocate inventory to stores accurately and timely.
• Maintain inventory to forecasted levels.
• Partner with the Merchant team to ensure their merchandise vision is executed.
• Analyze business and incorporate findings into shipping strategy.
• Action fast sellers and slow sellers in store and distribution center.
• Build strong relationships with Buyer to drive business results.
• Maintain a proactive and positive relationship with stores.
• Build and maintain strong ties with the distribution center staff.
• Plan and manage distribution for advertising and promotional activities.
• Liaise with marketing/advertising to support promotional activity.

Qualifications:
• Relevant degree (business or retail management).
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in retail planning, analysis and merchandise distribution.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in French and English.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Team building skills to build collaborative relationships based on respect and trust.
• Computer skills including advanced level Excel, Word processing and e-mail working knowledge of merchandise distribution programs.
