Off the Wall is hiring a Visual Presentation Manager
Burlington, Ontario
Overview:
The Manager, Visual Presentation, is primarily responsible to support the development of compelling visual presentation and communication direction with the immediate goal of enhancing the Off the Wall customer experience at all levels. This position also involves store opening support as it relates to Visual Presentation.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Effectively train, grow, counsel, inspire and motivate “GO TO” store visual associates to improve the Off the Wall store experience
* Actively participate in the store set up process to determine appropriate presentations based on store size and assortments
* Partner with Off the Wall Senior Buyers to create and present Off the Wall lifestyle concepts to project “a story” and ultimately form a relationship with our customer
* Photograph store set up and write easy to understand visual merchandising directives, weekly updates, conference calls, etc. in conjunction with strict calendar deadlines
* Manage mannequin presentation and work closely with the Off the Wall Marketing team to create “Look Books” supporting the mannequin presentation
* Work closely with outside vendors to source cost effective props and in-store marketing materials
* Support and assist in the development of visual merchandising standards
* Develop effective relationships with key cross-functional business partners, including Buying, Store Operations and Marketing, in order to provide support and service
* Support the coordination of all in-store signage to ensure deliveries and allocations meet timelines and store requirements
* Co-ordinate store opening information as it relates to Visual Presentation and provide floor plans, merchandise plans and assist in the opening process
* Participate in special projects as required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
* Minimum 3-5 years in-store visual merchandising experience in a specialty retail environment
* Post-Secondary degree in a related field preferred
* Proven effective communication skills and comfortable communicating with all levels in the organization both verbally and in writing
* Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and all MS Office products
* Ability to travel regularly to stores
* Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills |
