| 2nd Class Power Engineer - Harmattan Gas Processing Complex |

AltaGas Income Trust is one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing energy infrastructure organizations. The Trust creates value by acquiring, growing and optimizing gas and power infrastructure, including a focus on renewable energy sources.
We are currently seeking the services of a 2nd class Power Engineer to work in the Operations group at our Central Alberta Harmattan Gas processing complex. Harmattan operations personnel work a twenty-eight day rotating shift schedule (42 hours per week).
Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following:
• As a shift member, you will assist with the day to day operations of a major gas processing plant consisting of compression, amine sweetening, dehydration, deep cut liquid extraction, fractionation, CO2 recovery and sulphur recovery.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Grade twelve education
• Minimum 2 years gas plant or refinery operating experience
• Alberta 2nd Class Steam (3rd Class close to completion of 2nd Class may be considered)
• Experience using distributed control systems
• Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to progress to a lead position. |
