Legal Counsel – Litigation and Administrative Law
You have at least four years of litigation experience with an interest in planning, and municipal law. You will represent the corporation before courts and administrative tribunals (Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Ontario Municipal Board, Assessment Review Board, and the Environmental Review Tribunal). You will be part of a team that provides legal and procedural guidance to Council, staff, and committees on a broad range of matters including procurement and construction law, municipal licensing, municipal finance, planning and development, environmental law, provincial offences, contract disputes, and local governance.
