Reporting to Transit Service Centre Co-ordinator & Supervisor Transit Revenue and Service Centres, sells fare media and respond to customer inquiries regarding Brampton Transit route information.
WAGE:
$11.90 per hour subject to provisions of the A.T.U. #1573 Collective Agreement.
The rate will increase to $14.00 after the probationary period
HOURS OF WORK:
You will be required to work a variety of shifts during the Brampton Transit Store Hours:
Monday to Friday – 5:45 am to 11:00 pm
Saturdays – 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
Sundays – 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
The total hours per week will range from 10 – 24 hours
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Grade 12 education or equivalent;
· Acceptable criminal record check;
· An aptitude and passion for customer service;
· The ability to interpret maps, timetables, and tariff manuals is essential;
· Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to learn and operate computers competently;
· Must be available to work flexible hours (days, evenings, weekends);
· Must be bondable and reliable;
· Previous cash handling and cash balancing experience;
· Strong knowledge of the streets in Brampton is an asset. |
