    Key Responsibilities:
      • Develop and implement regional plans and cross functional coordination of all market development aspects as they relate to Corn, Soybeans, and Sunflowers • Recruit, train, coach, manage, motivate, and service a distribution network that is capable of achieving the required market share objectives for Western Canada • Produce and execute activity plans to meet seed sales and marketing objectives • Provide input to marketing program development through communication of value-added customer needs, competitive activities and general market intelligence. • Implement the business Marketing and Sales plans to ensure its success. • Contribute to the corporate profit targets by achieving regional sales goals while managing expenses within budget. • Promote the Company, Brand, and Products in a professional and technically competent manner to the distribution channels, growers, and centers of influence • Extensive travel throughout the sales region will be required. Home reporting base will be Central Manitoba
      Position Guidelines:
      • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in agricultural economics, business and marketing, or agronomy • Minimum 5 years related experience in the agricultural industry • Prior experience in people management, marketing or account management is preferred • Excellent interpersonal and social skills with the ability to nurture positive employee and customer business relationships • A self starter, able to work alone or in a team environment • Strong negotiation and selling skills • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills • Highly organized with excellent planning skills • A passion for customer satisfaction • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Strongly committed to a team environment, with a solid foundation and understanding of the Syngenta Frameworks
