This position is an exceptional opportunity for a dependable, self-motivated individual with a minimum of three (3) years of related management experience. Putting their strong leadership skills to the forefront, the successful candidate will supervise the laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance departments, including the scheduling and supervision of staff. The primary responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to: budget management; purchasing and ordering supplies; providing hands-on management through hiring processes and the application of the collective agreement; monitoring capital projects; working within a managerial structure; overseeing and/or assisting with the completion of various routines for preventative maintenance; general repairs; daily monitoring of building systems; conducting monthly fire drills; and establishing and monitoring service contracts. In addition, the incumbent will participate in quality assurance programming audits to ensure that appropriate health and safety and infection control practices are being administered in the home. |
