This role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, motivated Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner!
As a self-motivated team leader, you will hire, train, and supervise the resident care team and assume responsibility for the provision of quality care for residents and, in the absence of the General Manager, the retirement residence. You will put your excellent communication skills to work as you liaise with resident families, physicians, and all community health care agencies, as required.
The successful candidate possesses a valid practising licence from the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and holds current first aid and CPR certification. In addition, the incumbent is able to demonstrate strong organizational and assessment skills. Management experience is preferred. Knowledge of relevant legislation is essential, as are computer skills. |
