Scope of Position:
The Accenture Marketing Sciences (AMS) practice specializes in the measurement and optimization of a company's return on Marketing and Sales investments. The AMS process involves the use of advanced regression analysis and other statistical techniques to quantify the return on historic Marketing activities, and utilizes optimization techniques to maximize the return on future investments. AMS clients include leading FMCG, automotive and retailing companies worldwide, with good penetration in the consumer electronics, pharmaceutical, and banking sectors.
 

You will be part of the team responsible for the architecture of the Accenture Intelligent Digital Platform (IDP) - an integration of enterprise web technologies such as CMS, eCommerce, enterprise search and social media with the Accenture Digital Optimization (ADO) layer.  ADO is a patented multivariate testing platform that uses Nobel prize-winning Choice Modeling methodology to enable marketers to optimize any aspect of the digital experience, from ad targeting, search and email through to site content, navigation and conversion.

Key responsibilities may include:

- Managing the scope and architecture the IDP

- Managing the scope, implementation and delivery of the integration between the components of the IDP and numerous third party systems including Content Management Systems, Ad Networks, eCommerce and Social Media
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • This role requires excellent communication skills along with a willingness to travel from time-to-time (up to 50%). 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the field of software development
  • Minimum of 5 years directly architecting Microsoft-based enterprise web platform large scale implementations including Microsoft Commerce Server 2007/09 and  MOSS integration expertise.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading the design and development of marketing public facing websites on a Microsoft-based platform

Professional Skill Requirements:

  • Experience working with creative agencies (e.g. Razorfish)
  • Detailed understanding of web analytics
  • Strong familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies such as social media, personalization and behavioral targeting
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to explain new and complex technology to non-technical business stakeholders
  • Critical thinking skills to break down complex issues and identify potential solutions
  • Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
