How do I search and contact applicants?

Once logged into your employer account, click the ‘Search Applicants’ tab at the top navigation bar. Narrow your search using the ‘Category’ and ‘Province’ drop-down windows on the left margin.

Upon visiting this page you will see a list of basic ‘Applicant Profiles’ but not their resumes. The Applicant Profile will display the applicant’s first name, last name initial, their town/city, industry/job category preferences, skills, and education.

Should you wish to access resumes, click the box beside the applicant’s name. The ‘Notify Applicant(s)’ link will appear in blue at the top of the Applicant Profile list. By clicking this link, the applicant(s) will receive a notification email stating your request to unlock their resume. 

Your message will be sent via your anonymous MyCareerFair.ca email address to the email address that the applicants have specified in their profiles. This message will read:

 

Hi Applicant First Name

Employer Name has found you using My Career Fair profile search. If you are interested in the position below, please click on the link below to sign in and unlock your resume for Employer Name.

Position: Position Title
